Cory Nguyen, DDS, FICOI, AFAAID

"Dr. Cory" grew up in a family of four dentists and two professional dental lab technicians. His extensive experience working in the dental laboratory during undergraduate school gives him an advantage when it comes to communicating effectively with the dental laboratory. He has a strong drive for perfection and an innate ability to listen and understand his patients' desires. His ability to convey the details precisely to the dental lab personnel allows him to achieve the most beautiful and natural-looking smile - a union of functionality and aesthetic beauty, in perfect proportion to the patients' facial features.

Dr. Cory completed his BS in biology at the University of Dallas and received his DDS degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is experienced in dental implant surgery and restoration and has trained with one of the finest dental implant companies in the world, Nobel Biocare. He is currently attending a advanced implant training course sponsored by Medical College of Georgia at Atlanta and American Academy of Implant Dentistry, AAID.

Dr. Cory has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry and is always in pursuit of finding the most revolutionary cosmetic techniques. He stays abreast of advanced cosmetic materials and devices by attending numerous seminars and continuing education courses each year.

Dr. Cory offers gum lift/gum re-contouring to correct excessive or uneven gums, as well as implant surgery, especially the revolutionary implants by Teeth-in-an-Hour - to restore missing teeth, and straightening teeth with or without braces. These techniques allow him to refine and create a smile that is unique to each of his patients. To further enhance a patient's confidence in his or her new smile, Dr. Cory offers therapeutic BOTOX, Juvéderm, and Restylane injections that can be used cosmetically to relax fine lines and wrinkles. BOTOX can also be used dentally to treat a gummy smile, manage TMJ-related pain, and temporarily relieve migraine headaches or reduce pain and stiffness in muscles.

After completing the extreme smile makeover seminar taught by Dr. Bill Dorfman, the Hollywood dentist featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover, Dr. Cory incorporated this program into his practice. Dr. Cory has performed a number of extreme smile makeover cases in combination with full-mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Cory is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Society for Dental Aesthetics, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and American Orthodontics Society.
